Mole National Park
Mole National Park in the Northern Region is Ghana's premier wildlife destination. Spanning over 4,840 square kilometers of savannah woodland, it's home to elephants, buffalo, waterbuck, hartebeest, and over 300 bird species. Walking safaris with armed rangers offer an intimate encounter with African wildlife.
The park's Larabanga Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in West Africa, is a fascinating cultural stop nearby. The mystical Mole Motel, perched on a cliff overlooking two waterholes, provides front-row seats to elephant sightings from the comfort of the swimming pool.
